It is ultimately up to you know where to go and the rules within that area. we offer orv/atv trail maps at our shop.

the bighorn basin
lovell, greybull, and cody, wyoming.
the bighorn basin offers thousands of acres of public blm land. the basin is considered a high altitude desert in the heart of wyoming, vastly different than the heavily forested bighorn mountains. the basin offers unique badland formations, wild horse refuge areas, deep sandstone canyons, and even some truly off-road riding. the basin receives significantly less snowfall than the nearby bighorn and absaroka mountains.
App Resources
The bighorns, and wyoming as a whole is a very remote state. meaning cell service and internet is almost non-existent in most places. plan accordingly when taking our side by side/orv rentals into these remote locations unguided. Here are some apps we use!
Avenza
download maps that work without cell service. Wyoming is a remote state, cell service is not reliable. avenza is a free app that allows you to see where you’re at even without cell service. Make sure to download the app and the map you need before you leave cell service.
on x off road
on x is a great alternative to avenza, but it does require a monthly subscription to use the offline maps unlike avenza, but it is way more detailed.
